#The Origin
TLDR:
- I consume crypto content weekly and synthesize it in my own words.
- The writing is biased and opinionated because it only covers what I actually read.
- Weekly updates help me stay current in a fast-paced industry.
I consume A LOT of crypto content every day. Articles from research firms, outlook reports from analysts, long-form essays, X threads that somehow end up being more insightful than they should be, you name it. And at some point, I realized that most of this information just passes through my brain without sticking, maybe just one or two ideas that really stick out and then whoosh, gone. Something like this: I'll read something interesting, think about it for a minute, then move on to the next thing.
The problem is: I want to produce something from what I consume. Not just collect information that I've read, but actually translate it into my own understanding and share that publicly. I think this blog is where I do that. Every week I go through what I've read, pull out what stood out, and write about it in a way that makes sense to me. Sometimes that means connecting ideas across different topics. Sometimes it means sitting with one concept long enough to figure out why it matters. And sometimes it means just writing about something that I've been thinking about for a while. It can just be everything.
Then, why weekly? Because crypto doesn't fucking wait. The narrative shifts fast. What people were debating one weeks ago or one month ago can already feel outdated. Writing every week forces me to capture ideas while they're still fresh and relevant. If I wait longer, the context changes and the ideas lose their meaning. For me, weekly is tight enough to stay current but loose enough to actually think. (maybe I'm wrong though on this one!).
The content here will be biased (of course!) because I'm only writing about what I actually read and I'm not trying to be comprehensive like an institutional analyst. My feed is shaped by what I already pay attention to, which means entire sectors of crypto might not appear here for weeks simply because they weren't on my radar. But I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the industry and the topics that are top of mind for me, so I'm not afraid to write about anything.
And that's it. That's the ORIGIN of why I write this blog.
I hope you enjoy reading it.
PS: I came up with this idea in the third week of January 2026. The first article will probably go up at the end of January or early February.
PPS: NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
